          Early Life and Education

          Born on September 26, 1987, in Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do, Jang Geun Suk is the only child of his parents.

          At age five, he was discovered by a modeling agency manager who was impressed by his youthful charm. Jang went on to pursue modeling while also excelling academically, attending Seoul DongEuii Elementary School, Kwangjang Middle School, Nelson College New Zealand, Bangsan High School, and Hanyang University.

          He continues to pursue self-education to this day.
